Favorite Coachella Celebrity Looks

Coachella fashion is always so interesting. If you're not familiar with Coachella, it can be best described as our modern day Summer of Love festival. It features bands of all different genres, art, hippie love children, and the smell of Earth (if ya know what I mean). It happens every year at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Joanna and I have never been to Coachella before but it's definitely on the top of my bucket list. It just looks like a fun, care-free, happy place to be...a.k.a. hipster central. I dig it.

Easter Outfit

This year I decided to wear bright colors for Easter Sunday! I bought a nice mint green blazer that really worked out great with a white shirt, grey pencil skirt, and nude colored pumps. But since I’m going to church with my family, I'm no sure a pencil skirt will be appropriate. Today after work I’m going shopping to look for grey legging and might treat myself to some new shoes too! I will post pictures of my outfit tomorrow morning! Happy Easter Klarissa!!

I love Toast & the Ring I will never have!!

Ever since the first day Klarissa and I  had lunch at Toast, I can't stop going back for more! I love that place! It's adorable and the food is amazing! Today, I took a friend of mine out to brunch there. We went to the Wicker Park location and the wait was about 25 minutes long. After brunch, we walked around for a couple minutes when I noticed a cute little store called Virtu (virtuchicago.com). This place is amazing and they have everything from jewelry to little home crafts that would make any apartment or home look super adorable and interesting. I have to take Klarissa to this amazing little shop asap!

Congratulations Klarissa /Gloomy rainy day

Klarissa, I'm sorry I've been slacking on posting or updating anything on the blog. I had technical problems at work trying to post some pictures. Then I was working late hours, had so many last minute errands, was getting home late, and have been beyond tired. I finally got a set schedule at work and now get some free time to write on the blog!! I was going to congratulate you on the beginning of the post but wanted to get the apology out of the way first. Your whole outfit looked fabulous as always. You do such a great job putting on the best accessories. When you left your Lia sophia necklace at my house, I had to make sure I got my hands on it! Thanks for letting me borrow it, I got so many compliments! I'm off to get ready now to go out to dinner with my lover. If I like the way I look I'll post a picture of my outfit. It's such a gloomy day and I feel so lazy!

First Day on the Job

Today was my first official day at my new job. Luckily for me, the attire at my job is very casual so I can pretty much wear whatever I want which is great! Today's outfit was very structured  and quite simple. I wore a leather jacket in the morning because it was so cold out but had to ditch it by the end of the day because the temperature reached to about 70 degrees (not surprising). Statement jewelry pieces added a modern appeal to the outfit and finished off the entire look . I wanted to share little snippets of my outfit with you but I apologize in advance for the not-so-great quality of pictures and awkward poses.

Spring Fling

Saturday, Joanna and I posted the flyer for Chicago's Randolph Street Market Spring Fling Event at the historic Plumbers Hall. We spent the first hour on Sunday attempting to actually get there. You would think by now we would be experts at following directions but that was not true in this case. I mean, you can't really blame us. Chicago is a huge city after all! :)

It was our first time attending this market and we were pleasantly surprised at how many vendors actually participated. There were three huge floors of vendors selling everything from antiques, art, decor, jewelry, and vintage CHANEL (drooling at the thought of this right now). Joanna and I spent an exceptional amount of time at one particular stand, Man in the Moon Antiques. The owner Blair has an awesome collection of antique jewelry from pretty much every single era in the past 100 years. I actually think Joanna may have even found her future engagement ring here (hint, hint Adrian)! We both went on a jewelry escapade after that and bought so many beautiful and affordable pieces from other vendors. I left with a bag full of jewelry while Joanna also left with jewelry and some other cool knick-knacks.

Things that have now been officially added to my wish list for our next visit is a vintage school locker, House of Kym floral bed end bench, vintage Missoni dress, and a 6 feet bull horn that would have left with me had it not been for my lack of space at home...tear. 

The next event taking place at Plumbers Hall is Modern Vintage Chicago. Stay tuned for more details...
